Material Composition and Structure
Substrate
Polyurethane adhesive filmTypically uses PET (polyester film) as a carrier, coated uniformly with a polyurethane adhesive layer. The outer layer is often laminated with release film to protect the adhesive surface2.
Adhesive Formulation
Polyurethane adhesive is formulated by blending A/B components (main agent and curing agent) with solvents (e.g., ethyl acetate) in specific ratios. A typical ratio is 100:1:3.3, with solvent content adjusted based on coating requirements.
Core Properties
Bonding Performance
Polyurethane adhesive film Exhibits stable adhesion to metals, plastics, glass, and other materials, with adjustable peel strength for diverse applications.
Resists chemical corrosion and maintains elastic recovery, suitable for dynamic stress environments4.
Process Compatibility
Supports dry lamination processes and is compatible with low-, medium-, and high-speed coating machines. Typical coating weight ranges from 3–3.5 g/m².
Hot-melt adhesive variants enable rapid bonding via thermal activation, ideal for film-fabric composites38.

Production Process
Blend main agent, curing agent, and solvent in specified ratios until uniform.
Apply adhesive to substrate via roll-coating or blade coating, ensuring thickness and uniformity.
Evaporate solvents in a 65–70°C drying tunnel to prevent residue from affecting adhesion1.
Press and bond target materials using heated rollers, adjusting pressure based on substrate properties.
Cure at 60°C for 24 hours, followed by 3-day ambient conditioning to achieve final strength12.
Storage and Quality Control
Polyurethane adhesive film Store in sealed, moisture-proof conditions away from high temperatures and open flames. Recommended storage Temperature: ≤30°C; shelf life: 6 months.
Finished products must undergo weathering tests and long-term peel strength monitoring to ensure environmental durability.
